We initially booked The SL&L Project for some workshops around RSE topics for year 10 during the summer term last year. We quickly realised that Libby had so much more to offer so she now regularly comes into school to work with individuals and small groups.

Not only does she have a fantastic rapport with our young people, but she has a wealth of knowledge and understands how to approach sensitive subjects. She keeps abreast of the latest legislation and update with how this impacts teenagers, giving them a safe space to be open and to learn from real life situations.

Libby comes highly recommended and will remain an important part of safeguarding support and RSE in our school for the future.

This has been an eye-opening session, thanks Libby – it’s scary but so important to know this information so we can be aware of the risks our apprentices could face. I hope we can do some more on these topics at some point?

Libby delivered a great session to our Year 9 students on child criminal exploitation. She engaged students right from the start and she created an environment where students felt comfortable to discuss their ideas. The session was packed full of really useful information from how being in a gang is glamorised in the media to how to get help if you find yourself in the position of being exploited. These sessions really do have the power to change lives - and to save them.
