PROVIDERS
-
Foundation & Early Years
In today's digital landscape, where access to online devices begins at increasingly younger ages, we are well-prepared to provide tailored lessons and workshops designed specifically for primary school years.
Our dedicated efforts extend to crafting age-appropriate materials and branding, such as our distinctive "hand only" logo, to engage and educate young learners effectively during these formative years.
-
Key Stage 3 and Above
Our most sought-after requests predominantly come from secondary schools spanning Key Stage 3 to sixth form, with a notable emphasis on assisting leavers in their transition to further education or employment.
Our adaptable content is designed to cater to the specific age groups, ensuring relevance and engagement across various learning styles.
As highlighted on the 'Plan Your Project' page, our delivery methods are diverse, offering options such as full or half-day workshops, concise one-hour classroom sessions, comprehensive full year group assemblies, ongoing focus groups tailored to select students, and more.
Our content from the ‘subject list’ can be customised to align with your individual requirements. This can be discussed as part of our initial consultation.
-
Faith Schools
We have a wealth of experience in delivering such topics as ‘The effects of exposure to Pornography’ and ‘Child-on-child Exploitation’ with sensitivity in faith schools.
As part of your initial consultation, we aim to understand your faith values and our workshops and sessions will always be tailored to reflect this.
We can provide references from selected Catholic & Multi-faith schools who have held workshops on very sensitive subjects, including pornography and child-on-child exploitation.
Schools have have continued to book us as their provider, as well as refer us to other faith organisations.
-
Children in Care
Our expertise allows the SL&LP to create workshops that are carefully designed for children in care. We fully understand their potential challenges and situations well, which helps us provide workshops that are sensitive, relevant, and effective.
Linear design is pertinent in our planning for these children; in our experience we have found that returning to the same children for different subjects helps the children feel safe, allowing their confidence to build as they approach a variety of subjects at different times.
As an example, we have worked closely at various locations with Five Rivers Child Care LTT.
-
Young Adults in the Workplace
Recognising that safeguarding is an ongoing imperative across diverse age groups and academic environments, we can tailor our sessions to meet the unique needs of learners in a variety of workplaces, such as apprenticeship organisations.
Acknowledging the trend of remote access to 'safeguarding' and related training for many learners, we can customise our approach to deliver engaging online sessions that align seamlessly with the flexibility of your learners. Moreover, our track record includes successfully equipping Team Managers with comprehensive knowledge on topics like exploitation within their team meetings, enhancing their ability to provide robust support to learners.
Our experience includes: Specsavers - Apprenticeship Team Managers, Kids Planet Day Nurseries, The Learning Foundry, The Ragenda Group.
-
Individuals Counselling
Project founder Libby’s extensive experience working individually with children and families who've faced exploitation, combined with level 1 & 2 counselling qualifications, has led to this new development within the SL&LP.
Requests are frequently made for for one-to-one sessions or "check-ins", alongside group sessions. Even though students participate well in groups, they sometimes want to talk privately about their thoughts, feelings, or experiences.
For example, in a recent situation with a secondary school, Libby held one-on-one sessions with some students in the morning, and in the afternoon, held focus groups.
In these cases, the school or organisation's safeguarding policy will be followed if any disclosures are made.

Sports Organisations
The Sex, Lies & Love Project understands the importance of flexible and adaptable education for young people, regardless of their environment.
We customise our workshops to suit the unique needs of our audience, our expertise extending to working closely with sports organisations, including a notable association with the Chelsea Football Club Academy, previously delivering as part of their Chelsea Champions Programme, and upcoming workshops with their Under 18’s academy footballers.
