Driven by experience. Defined by a passion for change.

The Sex, Lies & Love Project (The SLL Project) was born from years of frontline experience addressing abuse, exploitation and sexual violence. We saw how technology and online spaces were reshaping harm, often in ways people didn’t recognise.

We created a safe, non-judgmental space to raise awareness, deliver prevention education, and support those affected, empowering people with knowledge, confidence and tools to seek support.

Libby Flenley

Lead Specialist

Libby is a Social Work England-registered professional, with a CPCAB-accredited counselling qualification, committed to the highest standards of safeguarding. Her expertise comes from years of frontline experience supporting victims of abuse and exploitation both in the UK and internationally.

Currently completing a master's degree in Understanding Domestic & Sexual Violence, Libby specialises in the complexities of sexual violence and exploitation.

From her time as a Board Member for Operation South America in Paraguay to her direct work with families in the UK, Libby’s dedication to tackling abuse is the heartbeat of The SLL Project.

She doesn't just teach theory; she brings the authentic reality of a practitioner who still works directly with survivors and victims today.
"My passion is empowering people to look beyond consent to understand personal boundaries, question harmful influences, and recognise what truly healthy relationships look like. I want everyone to feel confident to understand the law, trust their instincts, and never accept harm as 'normal'."

"Together we can make a difference. Together we can learn from what has been happening, and is still happening, to create safer spaces for all."
