About the Project

New harms demand new life skills.
We teach them.

Every day, people are exposed to increasingly explicit content and harm online, from sexual violence to harmful ideas, abuse and exploitation. Over time, these influences can distort how we understand safety, consent, boundaries and respect.

The difficult truth is that most people are unaware how much the digital world influences their daily lives.

Through age-appropriate workshops, life skills programmes and professional training, we explore how media and online culture influence real-life interactions, safety and wellbeing.

Our Mission

To equip children and young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to navigate digital and real-world environments safely and positively.
To empower adults and professionals to recognise, respond to and prevent abuse, sexual violence, exploitation and online harms.

Our Vision

A world where respect, consent and healthy connections are the norm, both online and offline.

The Sex, Lies & Love Project Approach: Expose & Empower

Our work is carefully tailored to each audience, with safety and sensitivity at its heart.

We Expose

We shine a light on the real-world impact of harmful online content. We don’t shy away from tough topics; we tell it how it is, using anonymised, real-life scenarios to show the changes happening in human interactions.

We Empower

We share knowledge and practical tools to increase awareness, build confidence, and promote healthy relationships and boundaries, as well as empowering people to seek support if they experience harm.

Our work is carefully tailored to each audience, with safety and sensitivity at its heart.

For our younger groups, we use our ‘Peace Sign’ branding. This signifies our focus on the safety aspect of the digital world.
